Delete your account and data

ChatNote can be used with no account at all, in that case nothing is stored on our servers and there is nothing to delete. If you created an account and used cloud sync, here is how to remove it.
01From the app
- 1Open ChatNote and go to Settings, Account & sync.
- 2Choose On this phone only, tap Apply and confirm. Everything in the cloud is deleted: notes, captures, recordings, drawings, research answers, and the notes you made available through the API link, which is closed. Your notes stay on the phone and you stay signed in.

Private syncEvery note is encrypted on this phone before it is uploaded.
On this phone onlyNothing is kept in the cloud. Your notes live on this phone and nowhere else.

To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email hi@dominguezpablo.com from the address you signed up with. We will delete your account and everything linked to it: your synced notes (text, voice recordings and their transcripts, and drawings), research answers, the API link, and the wrapped key for private notes, and remove your data from our systems.
03What is deleted
- 01Your account and email address.
- 02All synced notes and their media (text, audio, transcripts, drawings), private notes included.
- 03Any AI-generated organization derived from your notes.
- 04Research answers, and the API link with the list of notes made available through it.
- 05The wrapped key for private notes, and the records of your AI usage.
Requests are handled within 30 days. Backups are purged on their normal rotation.
